PETRO-TAPE INDUSTRIAL GRADE PTFE THREAD SEAL TAPE

Rugged, inert and highly resistant tape made of pure, virgin polytetrafluoroethylene. It withstands low temperatures down to -400°F (-240°C) and high temperatures up to 500°F (260°C). Petro-Tape is impervious to steam, salt water, air, fuels, refrigerants, acids and alkalies (including sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, sodium hydroxide and chromic), solvents (including kerosene, aircraft oils, gasoline, carbon tetrachloride and cleaning fluids) and gases (including natural, liquid and gaseous oxygen, hydrogen, ammonia, freon, chlorine, propane, butane, acetylene and nitrogen).

PETRO-TAPE NICKEL NICKEL-FILLED INDUSTRIAL GRADE PTFE THREAD SEAL TAPE

Thick, premium-density tape that permits quick, clean sealing of threaded pipe connections. It is composed of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) resin, with nickel filler and grey pigment coloring. Its PTFE base provides natural lubrication of the joint, while its nickel filler prevents galling of the threads which is common in stainless steel assemblies. At 4-mil thick, it is the ideal solution for sealing stainless steel threaded joints. The tapes gray pigment provides easy identification, and distinguishes it from lower density, general purpose thread sealant tapes.
